Our Mission

Our mission is to empower families who may be facing challenging times with mental health or their child’s Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We focus on the wellbeing of the whole family to reduce stigma and the need for crisis intervention. We believe that every child deserves to feel understood, valued, and supported — and every parent deserves to feel confident, capable, and less alone.

Who We Are

Family First Workshop brings together two not-for-profit organisations—Rising Futures Family Hub and Together4 Projects—passionate and committed to supporting families navigating mental health challenges and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). As a values-led initiative, we exist to serve communities and help families feel informed, confident, and connected.

She holds a degree in Social Sciences with a major in Psychology and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education. Throughout her career, Milana has been dedicated to supporting children with a wide range of learning profiles, fostering inclusive environments where every learner can succeed.

As both an educator and a parent of multilingual and neurodivergent children, she combines professional expertise with personal understanding of the challenges families face—particularly when education intersects with additional needs or second-language learning. A mentor and advocate for inclusion, Milana brings empathy, insight, and decades of experience to her work with children and families.
